Description from the seller
Handmade oil painting on canvas created with extra-fine pigments. Supplied with a certificate of authenticity, shipped packed with polystyrene.
Giuseppe Sassone - Italian artist (born in Avellino in 1985). Lives and works in Sperone (AV). For a brief period, he studied Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples.
In the poetic evidence of the images that it represents, it skillfully interprets human qualities; the works created with great technical skill explore contemporary subjectivity.
Sassone imagines the images of his subjects to see their complex genesis and to read their character.
These subjective fragments, mostly feminine, are decontextualized and reinterpreted by the artist with both analytical and reflective intent, in order to evoke those causal moments of our existence (morality, feelings, truth).
Over the years, he has participated in various events both nationally and internationally, exhibiting at venues such as Villa Vannucchi (San Giorgio a Cremano, Naples), Museo ARCOS (Benevento), Castello Sforzesco di Acaya (Lecce), Palazzo Incontri (Rome), Fondazione Campana dei Caduti (Rovereto), Teatro Carlo Gesualdo (Avellino), Ex Convento dei Francescani Neri di Specchia (Lecce), and Ex GIL (Rome).
