"This man is a Berber from the desert. The Amazighs ("free men") are the indigenous population of NorthAfrican countries, in particular Morocco and Algeria and have always been there. I met this young man named Karim while driving the queue of his camels in the red dunes. I asked him if his life was so hard in such an inhospitable environment and he replied, after a sincere smile, that is the only one he knows and could not live differently."

Born in 1981, Ruberti is an Italian freelance published photojournalist based in Rome. Attracted by photography in 1990, with a Pentax K1000, a present by his father. Graduated in 2010 with honors, in 2011 obtained a master's degree in Finance.
He is interested by human conditions and society organization. Since2013, he has photographed Patagonian Glaciers, AngkorWat and Bagan temples, Sahara and Wadi rum desert, Morocco,Philippines, Argentina,India,Tanzania,Indonesia,Burma and HongKong.
