XTC, Mc Caviar Black Red Straw, a 2025 sculpture in a 15/15 edition, made from wood, glass and plastic, measuring 25 × 18 × 18 cm, hand-signed and numbered 15/15, with a glass dome integral to the work.
Description from the seller
Black and gold McCaviar cone with red straw by XTC.
Probably XTC's most iconic work to date, in a black and gold version.
A McDonald's cone hijacking: a future luxury fast food dish? Not so impossible!
It is not a McDonald's paper cone made of cardboard; it was created from plastic materials and painted by XTC.
The glass bell is an integral part of the work.
Signed and numbered out of 15 below, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The sample sent is not necessarily the one in the photo.
Careful packaging and tracking
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has turned into a passion that was to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular culture (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or Caviar) and street art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are considered an integral part of the work.
