Candlestick (2) - Majolica - Para majolica candle holders

Decorative pair of candle holders made from hand-glazed majolica. They depict stylized griffins inspired by Renaissance Italian ceramics and post-war mid-century aesthetics. The molded form, linear wing decoration, and characteristic glazes indicate production by a small workshop from the Tuscany/Umbria region, typical of the 1950s–1960s.

Objects kept in excellent condition, without cracks and without repairs.
Manual finishing and the workshop signature 'R Italy' attest to the craftsmanship.
