Beautiful and substantial solid 14k gold (0.585) military-style pocket watch by Armada.
This piece has a strong military aesthetic, with a bold Arabic numeral dial, blued steel hands, and a robust oversized crown typical of field watches of the era.
The watch is housed in a heavy 71.17 gram solid gold case, finely decorated with guilloché engraving on the back and a central cartouche. Inside the case, the gold hallmarks clearly indicate:
• 0.585 (14k solid gold)
• Maker’s shield hallmark
• Additional control stamps
The movement is a reliable mechanical calibre with 15 rubis, engraved “Remontoir Ancre 15 Rubis”, and is clean and complete.
