Original paperback in good condition, it should be noted that the copies were printed on very low-quality paper, making it almost impossible to find copies in perfect condition. The copy offered shows the usual small flaws but is absolutely complete, including the text. It is noted that some pages are detached. However, everything is complete.
Second most important collection of the poet-soldier, characterized by unprecedented graphic innovations and illustrated on the title page with a portrait of Guillaume Apollinaire by Pablo Picasso. "Some of the best war poems, in any language, are collected in this volume, alongside experimental works like Les Fenêtres (close to Cubism) and La Jolie Rousse, which were very advanced for their time" (Cyril Connolly, Cent livres-clés de la littérature moderne, no. 32).
