An exceptional Valpolicella wine, this Amarone Classico comes from vineyards located in the heart of the most traditional area, on well-drained limestone and clay soils. The Corvina (40%), Corvinone (40%), and Rondinella (20%) grapes are hand-selected and left to dry for at least 100 days, reducing their weight by 35-40% and concentrating their aromas and structure.
After cold maceration and a long fermentation, the wine ages for 30 months in second- and third-use French oak tonneaux, followed by an additional 8 months in bottle.
It displays a deep ruby red color with garnet highlights. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of ripe fruit, such as raspberry, brandied morello cherry, and plum, accompanied by spicy notes of nutmeg and vanilla. On the palate, it is elegant and intense, with perfectly integrated soft tannins and a harmonious structure. The finish is long and persistent, with a perfect balance between power and elegance.
