This collectible luminous sculpture was made in France by designer-artist Caroline Schilling. This exceptional piece can be positioned in various orientations to vary the diffusion of its light and alter the visual appearance of the artwork.
This one is signed by hand, adorned with its monogram signature medallion, and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.

Caroline Schilling's approach
A graduate designer artist from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris, her unusual works have been exhibited at the Salon Maison et Objet in Paris (Best of MOM selection), at the Collectible Salon in Brussels, as well as in galleries in Paris, Nantes, and elsewhere (Oscar, Antique Lightings...).

In her world, beauty hides where we least expect it; she believes that using the right medium is enough to reveal the extraordinary in everything around us, and it is the small details that make all the difference. In short, she perceives potential everywhere, and her creative approach values the anecdotal, the unspeakable, the ordinary, and even the insignificant waste.

Through her first collection, 'WAW!', she brought to life objects and expressions that had fallen into disuse, materialized as unusual functional sculptures. Always at the crossroads of applied and fine arts, her polymorphic artist's eye is full of surprises. With this new luminous sculpture, named 'LUMIÈRE SAUVAGE,' Caroline Schilling invites us even more to change our perspective on our surroundings.

Design secret
Based on the paradigm that 'the best waste is the one we do not produce,' which upsets the foundations of her profession, she decides to add a soul to a piece of discarded mesh; in her world, this waste is precious, and the story is woven. After hours of research and preparation, it transforms into an abyssal creature, a kind of Ostreidae, this deep-sea shell would jealously guard its golden pearl.


Conditioning Information
- This handcrafted piece is unique and fragile, so it is packaged in custom packaging for secure shipping: the light sculpture is protected by a silk sheet, then carefully wrapped and placed in a high-strength double-walled box surrounded by packing elements. The bulb is separate and protected in its custom box.
According to the project guidelines: All paper and cardboard packaging elements are reusable and/or recyclable.

Recommendations
Upon receipt, it is recommended to proceed meticulously with unpacking the item; wearing gloves is highly recommended to handle and install it in order to avoid damaging the item and/or injuring yourself — remember, she is wild.
This work is intended for indoor exhibition only and excluding humid rooms; Caroline Schilling cannot be held responsible in case of use other than the above or improper handling.
