Clear Morning with Willows I pays tribute to Monet’s masterpiece Clear Morning with Willows from the Water Lilies series at the Musée de l’Orangerie. The weeping willows, which Monet often painted as a symbol of mourning during World War I, here take on a lighter, more hopeful tone.
