Description from the seller
Limited Edition of 300. Alu - Framed.
Delivery approximately 10 days.
This limited edition print was created in collaboration with the Musée de l'Orangerie, based on a scan of the original artwork. All our products are custom-made in our factory in Bregenz, Austria, and feature our patented LITO Hi-Rnd technology. A portion of our proceeds is donated to the partner museum.
Offered by Claude Monet to France the day after the Armistice of November 11, 1918, as a symbol of peace, the Water Lilies were installed at the Musée de l'Orangerie in 1927, a few months after his passing.
Reflets Verts V is inspired by Monet's major series exhibited at the Musée de l'Orangerie, where his iconic work Water Lilies is displayed. This composition pays tribute to the silent beauty of the pond at Giverny. The surface of the water is rendered visible through the presence of flowers and water lily leaves floating on it. Reflets Verts V embodies Monet’s ability to blend realism and abstraction, thus creating an evocative, almost dreamlike quality.
Monet lovers can now enjoy a limited edition print of a fragment of their dream masterpiece.
