Carmen Lop created the rectangular sculpture 'Big knot eight', a unique forged piece in steel and iron (2025), signed with a chisel, measuring 46 × 15 × 8 cm and weighing 3.7 kg, from Spain, in excellent condition, with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
The sculptor Carmen Lop has made her knots in iron and steel her signature. She continues to perfect the technique that allows her to make large knots, which make her unique.
To make this knot, two qualified people working hard in the coal forge are needed.
Unique due to the large thickness of the bars and the different profiles used (this can be verified by searching on Google).
Large knot in rectangular shape, individually forged, using a 30x15 mm rectangular steel bar.
Since they are forged individually, there are always notable differences between them, which is why I consider each piece to be unique.
It is signed with a chisel.
The authenticity certificate issued by the sculptor is attached.
The finish: burnished, oil, and wax.
