Our era – the Information Age (technological) – compared to the classicism of past centuries and the abstract art of the twentieth century, is orphaned of its own codified linguistic system. This problematic lack of specific expressive-significant values, independent of those of the past, does not allow today's content space-time to manifest in all its communicative potential.
Sequentialism, by encoding at a sequential level the principle of 'the number that is in all things,' now allows us to develop this new emotional space-time dimension, rich in content, in a complete and in-depth manner.
The expressive-significant coding that governs this sequential-digital dimension is based on the cognitive process of 'directed counting,' and each artist—regardless of the traditional or technological medium they use—can draw on their advanced communicative resources with renewed creative spirit.
