A hand-painted faience baluster vase (Model 823, Form 41) by Boch Frères Keramis from La Chambre des Peintres Hollandais, La Louvière, Belgium, dating from 1880–1920, in blue and white Delftware style with cobalt decoration, measuring 17 cm wide, 32.5 cm high and 17 cm deep, weighing 1227 g, in excellent condition with base markings.

A magnificent and rare faience vase from the prestigious La Chambre des Peintres Hollandais atelier of Boch Frères Keramis, La Louvière, Belgium.
Produced between 1880-1920, this hand-painted baluster vase (Model 823, Form 41) represents the finest tradition of Delftware craftsmanship combined with Chinese-inspired (chinoiserie) decoration.
HISTORICAL CONTEXT
La Chambre des Peintres Hollandais was an elite studio within Boch Frères where Dutch-trained painters from Delft and Maastricht created unique ceramic artworks for aristocratic collectors. These pieces were hand-painted (not transfer-printed) and produced exclusively for wealthy clientele.

- Technique: Tin-glazed faience with hand-painted cobalt blue decoration
- Form: Classic Chinese-inspired garlic-neck baluster vase (Model 823)
- Design: Multi-tiered decoration featuring:

Excellent condition: No cracks, no chips, no restorations.
Some minor kiln imperfections consistent with hand-made production (som small glaze spots on one side - as produced). Glaze remains vibrant and intact throughout.
