Exceptional set of two volumes bound in half morocco gilt. This 1841 edition, annotated by Abbé Marcellin and Gabriel Ruck, represents a major primary source on the history of Montauban, originally written by Henry Le Bret in 1668.
Content: Complete history of Montauban from its origins. Liminal pages, introduction, historical text, a unique genealogical appendix with a list of over 200 notable Montaubanais and Midi-Pyrénées residents from 1841.
