Cristian Mesa Velázquez presents "Ímpetu de la Luz Salvaje", an original oil painting on canvas in Realism style, dated 2025, measuring 24 by 36 cm, signed by hand and sold directly from the artist in Spain.
Description from the seller
In 'Impulse of the Wild Light,' Cuban artist Cristian Mesa Velázquez captures the untamed essence of the horse as an eternal symbol of freedom, bravery, and nobility. This oil on canvas work becomes an explosion of frozen movement: the flowing mane seems to break the silence of the space, while the light brushes the coat with a softness that can only be achieved through deep observation and remarkable mastery of traditional painting.
Mesa Velázquez does not merely seek to depict an animal; she explores the tension between its majesty and vulnerability. The contrast between the dark background and the luminosity of the horse makes the figure emerge with an almost sculptural strength, as if the wind and the energy surrounding it belonged to a more spiritual than physical plane.
Each stroke vibrates. Each nuance adds to the sensation of a being moving through darkness, carrying an inner clarity. The gaze — attentive, lively, full of intention — adds an emotional component that brings the viewer closer to an unrepeatable moment: beauty in full flight.
This work possesses a powerful and intimate presence at the same time. It is a piece capable of transforming any space with its energy, offering the collector a work that not only decorates but also breathes, dialogues, and fills the room with the pulse of the wild.
