Rare first edition (1922) of Despo Toumazi, a short story by Laras Krystallis (real name: Dimitrios Nikopoulos), an important early 20th-century Cypriot writer and one of the notable voices of the period preceding the generation of Seferis and Elytis.
Printed in Skala (Cyprus) by P. Cheimonidis Press, this edition represents a scarce surviving example of early Cypriot literary production, published during a time when print runs were extremely limited and most copies have not survived.
