Laras Krystallis (Dimitrios Nikopoulos, 1900 - 1951) was an important Cypriot prose writer and poet of the early 20th century. Although his published output was small, his contribution is valued for its authenticity, linguistic richness and early representation of Cypriot prose at a time when literary production on the island was still developing.
