This is an exceptional chawan titled “Gingetsu” (吟月) created by Takahashi Raku-sai, accompanied by its original signed wooden box (tomobako), original cloth (tomofuku), and leaflet (shiori).
The bowl is a graceful example of the Dansai (淡斎) aesthetic—soft, pale tones with subtle pink nuances, paired with elegant calligraphy brushed directly onto the surface.
