Japanese Rinzai Zen priest from Oita Prefecture.
After graduating from Hanazono University, he trained under Master Mumon Yamada at Shofukuji Temple (Tenmonzan) in Kobe.
He was the 33rd head priest of the Myoshinji School of Rinzai Buddhism (2010-2014). Former president of the All Japan Buddhist Association (2010-2012).
His room name is Yugenkutsu. His name is Taitsu. His Dharma name is Sogen. His secular name is Kono.
He is the abbot of Ryomonji Temple(Tentokuzan) in Aboshi, Himeji.
