Description from the seller

A pair of two-arm candelabra in patinated and gilded bronze, dating from the Charles X period (circa 1824–1830). The arms are supported by putti in dark patinated bronze, creating an elegant contrast with the richly fire-gilded elements. The upper part, decorated with a laurel wreath, crossed attributes, and an acanthus motif, perfectly illustrates the refined neoclassical vocabulary from the late Bourbon period. The cannelured baluster feet, decorated with leaf motifs, attest to the high quality of the casting and gilding work from French ateliers of the early 19th century. A harmonious and representative pair that reflects the elegance and craftsmanship of the Charles X period.
