José Nicolas (1956) is the laureate of the 2nd edition of the SAIF/Benoît Schaeffer Scholarship.

It is thanks to the Bourse prize, Saïf authors' society, that I was able to create this monograph. It presents the numerous reports and events I covered throughout my career as a photojournalist. Journalist Frank Tenaille wrote the texts, providing an educational insight into the complexity of these many conflicts.
