Château Lafleur 1961 Pomerol
From a private cellar, purchased by me. The cellar had a good temperature but slightly high humidity.
The 1961 vintage is considered one of the best and most exceptional post-war vintages, highly sought after by collectors.

Mähler-Besse: Founded in 1892, this renowned wine merchant specializes in grand cru and older vintages.

The label is clearly visible but shows natural signs of age, such as soiling and slight wear and tear along the edges. The name "Château Lafleur Grand Vin Pomerol 1961" is clearly legible.
The merchant's name, "MAHLER BESSE NÉGOCIANTS BORDEAUX," is clearly printed at the bottom of the label. This confirms that the bottling was carried out by this renowned wine merchant.

The capsule is in place and in good overall condition; the Mahler Besse inscription is clearly visible on the top of the capsule, although there is some slight corrosion, which is not uncommon.

The cork is stamped.
Very Top Shoulder level: Acceptable for a wine from the 1960s/70s.
