AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Special edition
Rare and sought-after sublime Hermès square scarf.
Brand: Hermès
Dimensions: 90 cm x 90 cm
Material: 100% silk

Model: Panthera pardus

Colors: white, mint water green, brown, black, gray...

Edited in tribute to Robert Dallet, who died in 2006, and for the benefit of the organization Panthéra, created in 2006 and dedicated to the preservation of felines. A self-taught naturalist, Robert Dallet dedicated his life to the study of wildlife, with a particular passion for big cats, which he admired unreservedly. An incomparable portraitist of the animal world, he created over 100 plates cataloging all feline species. Today, they are part of Hermès' heritage. Among them is this Panthéra pardus. The precision of the line is striking. The animal seems to emerge from the square; its gaze, its coat, its posture are astonishingly true to life. The Indochinese leopard or Panthera pardus delacouri lives solitary in the deepest tropical forests. This drawing depicts a male leopard, and its study dates back to the early 1930s.

Edited in 2016.

In very good condition, with only slight makeup traces on the white side (see last photograph).

No S or X stamp with composition label.
