I present my painting “Ring with Sapphires”, a large oil-on-canvas work created using a traditional multi-layered glazing (liserovka) technique. This method requires exceptional patience and precision: each transparent layer of paint must fully dry before the next one is applied. Because of this, the painting was developed slowly and thoughtfully, allowing the depth, luminosity, and softness of the forms to emerge gradually.
This classical technique is demanding and time-consuming, but it gives the artwork its characteristic richness and refined finish.

In this composition, I depict four young women seated around a festive table filled with fruit, wine, and delicate desserts. Their calm presence, floral crowns, and gentle gestures create a sense of intimate celebration and timeless serenity.
I devoted particular attention to transitions of light, skin tones, and the warm atmosphere of the scene, building each detail through multiple glazing layers to achieve a glowing, almost velvet texture.

The back of the canvas bears my handwritten title, medium, dimensions, and the note “Slovakia 2025.”
