Artist Le Yack presents California Dreaming - The View - Handmade!, an original oil on canvas work in good condition, 100 x 80 cm, created in 2025 and signed by hand, sold directly from the artist with origin France and on a stretcher, a unique work.
Description from the seller
Unique artwork. Canvas made by hand, with oil and acrylic paint. Delivered on a frame. 100x80 cm.
This work is a window open to a suspended moment, worthy of the greatest cinematic shots. In an enchanting twilight atmosphere ('Blue Hour'), a woman seen from behind, dressed in a passionate red dress, contemplates the vastness of a sparkling city that stretches at her feet.
The contrast is striking and masterful: the bluish coldness of the falling night contrasts with the golden warmth of the modernist villa (Mid-Century style) where a man, seemingly distant or indifferent, is immersed in his reading. The artist captures here the essence of shared solitude and incommunicability, reminiscent of the visual poetry of Edward Hopper or the villas of David Hockney.
The composition guides the eye with fluidity: from the elegant silhouette in the foreground to the city lights, ending in the intimacy of the home. It is a canvas that 'enlarges' the room where it is hung, offering a perspective and intellectual depth that are rare.
The artist Le Yack's style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual worlds by merging various digital resources and exploring a range of artistic techniques (Photoshop software, drawing on Procreate, and different royalty-free image resources and AI).
Le Yack, an emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he attended the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is an art director in publishing and web. Instagram @leyack45. His work is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.
Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary perspective to his creations by incorporating iconic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vivid colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.
The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on stretched canvases, thus creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.
Le Yack's style reflects a fusion of traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and skillful use of digital resources allow him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
