Description from the seller
Omega Constellation pie pan in 18kt gold
It is from 1960 and works perfectly. It was serviced in 2022. It is very precise.
It is quite rare because it has a larger diameter than the usual Pie Pan watches, which are almost all 34mm excluding the crown. This one is 35.8mm.
The case has no damage or other issues. It has never been polished. Some very superficial marks could be removed with a light polishing. The crystal in esalite is Omega branded in the center. The crown, also Omega and logoed, is small in diameter. It winds the watch well but must be pulled out carefully, gripping it with the nails and with a little attention. The Pie Pan dial is white-ivory in color, has no damage, and all the indices and date window are intact. It has not been reprinted or retouched; upon close inspection with a lens, it shows a small blooming, a kind of uniform speckling that does not disturb and is not visible to the naked eye.
The watch is entirely made of 18Kt gold and weighs 40 grams without the strap. The case back, the classic of the Constellation, is screwed down and alone weighs 9 grams. It screws in very well and has its O ring. Inside, the reference number, the gold hallmark, etc. Inside the lugs, there are two more gold hallmarks. The leather strap is used but in good condition; it is not an Omega, but it has a gold-plated Omega logo buckle attached.
It has its original branded Omega and Constellation box. It is made of genuine red leather. Inside, there is its watch holder.
