Its rose PVD case gives it a sumptuous appearance. But this watch is not just a visual work of art; featuring a dual time zone, GMT, it allows you to stay connected to time wherever you are in the world. Its two hearts, two movements, ensure the immortality of three GMTs (Europe, Asia, and the United States), each capable of tracing the journey of the ghost ship. True to David Van Heim's design ethos, blending technical expertise with style, the Hollander collection manages to seamlessly integrate into the contemporary watch scene, with a name that already feels so familiar.

dial
Its double dial offers incomparable readability with an ingeniously designed overlay of textures. The checkerboard dial adds a subtle visual depth, while a second texture, formed of vertical lines, delineates the main dial. The complications are carefully arranged in three independent positions: the 24 hours, the days of the week, and the date are thus clearly indicated, ensuring flawless temporal organization.

In the small dial, called zone 2, innovation continues with a copper retrograde display to suggest the hours. Another complication in this zone houses the seconds, adding an extra dimension to this already multifunctional watch. The discreet brand logo is meticulously placed on a screw-down plate at the bottom right, highlighting the attention to detail.

Crown
The left crown is protected by an ingenious clasp that opens with a smooth upward movement, providing extra protection while making it easier to adjust the settings.

The origin of the 'L'Hollander' collection stems from the legend of the Flying Dutchman, a ship of the Dutch East India Company known for making, with surprising speed for the time, the voyages between Europe and Asia. Rumor attributed these unusual performances to the devil's assistance, as some believed it literally flew over the water.
The legend says that after the disappearance of the famous building at sea, the crew and its captain would have become ghosts forever trapped on the ship. The captain, in exchange for immortality, is said to have torn out his heart from his chest to relive.
