1. The Stranglers - La Folie (Liberty – 1A 064-83219) made in Holland 1981 original 1st pressing LP | vinyl: NM (mint-) | cover: VG++ (excellent) comes with printed inner sleeve. | The Stranglers had initially been the most commercially successful band of the punk/new wave period in Britain, but by 1981, their success had waned noticeably. La folie was a conscious attempt to deliver a more commercial product. It is co-produced by the band with engineer Steve Churchyard and mixed by Tony Visconti. The band's record company, EMI, gave Visconti a brief to mix each song as a potential single. La folie is the sixth studio album by the English new wave band the Stranglers.
2. The Stranglers – Black And White (United Artists Records – 5C 062-61115) made in Holand 1978 original 1st pressing LP | vinyl: NM (mint-) --> a few very light hairlines visible, which does not effect play. | cover: VG++ (excellent) some storage wear around the edges. comes with printed inner sleeve.
Black and White is the third studio album. | As with the Stranglers' first two albums, Black and White was produced by Martin Rushent. The album sees the Stranglers adopting a more experimental approach to song structures and time signatures (for example, "Curfew" features 7/4 time).

My name is Hans Kesteloo and I finally decided to sell my ‘remaining’ collection of 45’s, LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, laserdiscs and other odd things after more than 60 years of ‘hardcore’ collecting. I purchased my first 45 in 1965, and this was the beginning of an enjoyable, long-time hobby – a real-time “collector’s career”. Now time has come to pass the baton !
