Description from the seller
Individual of the classified L6 chondritic stone meteorite NWA 5418
early NWA number from 2006
Together with Mr. Wuthenau, I bought a box of nice roundish, shoklate brown meteorites with visible melt-veins at the Tucson show wit a total mass of 12.8 kg. The Meteorites were classified at the University of Hamburg (my hometown :) ) as L6 Chondrite. Even with this boring classification, they have an interisting inner apperance. They show big Troilite inclusions, big Chondrule fragments and melt pockets.
So there is a mistake in the Meteoritical database, claiming it was just one mass. It hase been arround 25-30 pices with the total of 12.8 kg
State/Prov/County: Tucson, USA
Date: 2006
Mass (g): 12,800

For sale is here an uncut individual of 130 g - 60 x 46 x 34 mm
