Description from the seller
This is an original Yugoslav cinema poster for A View to a Kill (1985), the final James Bond film starring Roger Moore as 007. Issued for the Yugoslav market under the translated title “Od nišana do smrti”, this poster was distributed by Kinematografi Sarajevo and printed by Agrokonmerce.
The artwork features the iconic illustration of Bond and Stacey Sutton atop the Golden Gate Bridge, one of the most recognisable images from the film’s promotional campaign.
Authenticity & Design
The poster follows the classic mid-1980s Yugoslav layout, with the English international artwork combined with local-language credits and distribution logos. These regional variants are increasingly collectible due to their limited print runs compared with Western one-sheets.
The colours remain strong, and the offset print quality is typical for Yugoslav cinema posters of the period.
Condition
Very Good (see photos).
Colours remain vivid and well-preserved
Light fold lines from original cinema distribution
Minor handling wear
Small paper flaw/hole at the upper border, visible in the close-up photo
No major tears, no writing, no significant paper loss
Despite the small imperfection at the top edge, the poster displays beautifully and remains a strong example of this Bond title.
Collectability
Yugoslav James Bond posters have gained consistent collector interest due to their unique artwork combinations and increasingly scarce survival rate.
A View to a Kill is especially desirable, being the final appearance of Roger Moore in the role and featuring memorable villains such as Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) and May Day (Grace Jones).
