This sculpture expresses the longstanding innate belief in the Chinese soul that the carp is.
The fish that bring luck and abundance, the author created a podium where the carps rest gracefully; the mastery of the artist in depicting the fish and the fluidity of their positioning is evident. It is also appreciable that the work has two faces; the artist engraved a phrase or simply his signature with ideograms.
