It is with great pleasure that I present my new work, titled 'The Lady with the Can.' This piece represents the fusion of two trends that have always deeply inspired me as an artist: the classical aesthetics of the Baroque and the irreverence of street art.
Through chiaroscuro-style lighting, I depicted a female figure holding a spray can, symbolizing urban creative energy. The choice of charcoal and pastel as mediums allowed me to highlight the gesture and expression of each stroke, making the creative process visible and tangible. Every mark left on the support, especially when viewed up close, was made intentionally… they reflect the humanity present in traditional artistic creation.
At a time when artificial intelligence and fingerprints are often mistaken for oil paintings or charcoal drawings, this work asserts itself as a genuinely human piece, full of imperfections that make it unique. By acquiring this painting, the collector takes with them a fragment of my soul… felt in the stroke, in the small reliefs, and in the energy that only the human hand can convey.
This piece was created for true connoisseurs of traditional, authentic, and lively art. If you are an enthusiast of machine-made art, this work will most likely not be for you.
