Eaglemoss was a manufacturer of high-quality collectible items. The James Bond and Star Wars products were particularly popular. Unfortunately, the company ran into financial difficulties and was later taken over by IXO.

This Eaglemoss rarity of the legendary Mercede-Benz 300 SL Gullwing was only available as a kit. It took 100 weeks to get all the individual parts from the magazines together and, depending on how skilled you were, you then needed a lot of time to assemble the many small parts into a model. A very complex job.

This high-end model is 56.5cm long, 22.4cm wide and weighs an impressive 9kg. It is equipped with working electrics. The headlights, taillights and interior lighting can be switched on. One switch is located under the vehicle and one switch is installed inside the vehicle dashboard. The interior lighting comes on when you open the wing doors.
