Rado LUMINO automatic men’s wristwatch from the 1970s with a stainless steel 35 mm case, brown dial, rotating anchor emblem, framed date window with red numerals, and a (non-original) steel bracelet; reference K674217, model LUMINO, produced in the early 1970s and in good condition with visible wear.
Description from the seller
Rado LUMINO – a vintage model from the early 1970s when the brand was expanding its identity through bold dial textures and distinctive case design.
This reference features the signature rotating anchor emblem at 12 o’clock — an iconic Rado characteristic introduced in the late 1950s and carried through the 60s and 70s. The anchor freely rotates with wrist movement, serving both as a visual hallmark and an indicator of the automatic movement inside.
The dial shows a warm, wood-tone gradient typical of Rado’s experimental aesthetic during this period. Applied baton indices, faceted hands, and the framed date window contribute to its mid-century industrial-modern character. Another attractive detail is the red-printed date numerals, a stylistic touch Rado used on select models to enhance visibility and add a subtle visual accent.
The watch retains its original signed crown and rotating anchor, while the bracelet is a later replacement (non-original). The stainless steel case measures approximately 35.2 mm, giving it a balanced vintage presence without feeling too small by modern standards.
Running at the time of listing.
As a vintage watch, stable operation, accuracy, and water resistance are not guaranteed.
The watch will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking for safe delivery.
