Seiko LM Lord Matic Automatic Day-Date for men, reference 5606-7000, a 1973 35 mm dress watch with a gold‑plated and stainless steel case, silver dial, leather band, and automatic movement, includes the original LM bracelet.
Description from the seller
Seiko LM (Lord Matic) Automatic Day-Date, reference 5606-7000.
The Lord Matic line emerged in the late 1960s as one of Seiko’s refined dress series, positioned above the Seikomatic range and designed with the quality and presence that placed it close to Seiko’s higher-grade lines of the period.
It offered a balance of elegance, thin automatic movements, and practical day-date functionality—features that defined Seiko’s ambitions during this era of rapid development.
The 5606 movement family became one of Seiko’s representative automatic calibers of the early 1970s, known for its practical construction, smooth winding operation, and the convenience of a crown-operated quick-set system.
This model embodies the design language of the time, featuring a silver sunburst dial with applied indices, a framed bilingual day-date display, and a gold-tone case with classic LM styling.
This example comes with a new leather strap, and the original Seiko LM bracelet with LM-logo clasp will be included in the shipment.
The watch is running at the time of listing.
The quick-set system is functioning: pulling the crown to the first position allows adjustment of the day and date by turning the crown in each direction.
The day disc shows Japanese and English.
As a vintage watch, stable operation, accuracy, and water resistance are not guaranteed.
The watch will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking for safe delivery.
