This work unifies the two visions of abstraction I have developed so far. It is an abstract and surreal landscape in terms of formal discourse that explores the relationship between being and its environment through the interaction of visual symbolic language and its title. It is painted with acrylic, ink, and enamels to achieve a richness of textures that accentuate the character and consistency of the composition. The piece seeks visual balance and uses color as a catalyst that unifies the whole. Joy of living.

Kasai Massana (1975). I was born in Cuba, where I studied at the National School of Art in Havana. My relationship with painting has been intermittent over the years. I have created mural works in Italy and Spain, the country where I currently reside. I like art that invites reflection, but I also feel comfortable with and greatly enjoy abstraction.
The work doesn't seek perfection in the execution of the stroke; it's the human pulse, not a digital print; it seeks beauty through the harmonious conjunction of color, composition, and design structure to achieve reflective moments and dormant emotions in the viewer.
