Created in 2004, Nude in the Grass fits within the continuity of Michel Pinel's work on the female body and nature.

The composition, of great sobriety, captures a moment of surrender in a field of tall grasses, where the vegetal texture envelops the human figure.

The artist plays with the depth of field and the density of the silver grain to create an image that is both sensual and meditative.

Michel Pinel 1949-2022

Born in 1949.
After studying in Cahors, he moves to Milan, where he meets director Paul Casalini, who introduces him to and helps him develop a love for photography. He ventures into the profession, which quickly becomes his passion. Michel Pinel takes fashion photographs.
A devotee of pure photography, he produces in his studio prints of remarkable quality. He invests himself in what has become his favorite mode of expression: nude photographs.
