Engraved copper print with date 1505 and monogram A D.

You are bidding on a copper engraving, probably a later variant. It is partially trimmed at the edges with a visible framing line, in a strong impression. The lower edge has a tiny defect and slight edge wear. The reverse side shows adhesive residue from mounting on backing cardboard, is somewhat stained, and lightly browned.

Offered in an attractive gold frame under glass and on backing cardboard with a mat. The frame is probably from around 1750-1770, gilded with leaf gold (partially with splinters).
