Description
Beautiful antique Omega pocket watch imported by C.E. Hellsing, Ludvika (Sweden). This watch features a classic white enamel dial with elegant Roman numerals, a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, and original blued-steel hands. The dial is signed C.E. Hellsing Ludvika, indicating it was retailed locally at the time.
The solid silver case is marked Ω Omega, hallmarked 0.800, and carries additional import and silversmith stamps. The case back is finely engraved with a floral wreath motif, typical of late 19th–early 20th century designs.
Inside, the high-quality Omega movement shows beautiful finishing, clean plates, and the decorated balance cock. The movement runs and ticks strongly (see note below). The inner dust cover is also engraved C.E. Hellsing Import.
A matching pocket chain is included.
