Very beautiful illustrated edition of this collection of 39 songs in Solognese dialect by Gaston Couté, adorned with 52 original color lithographs by the painter Edmond Heuzé (1883-1967).
Work published for the Société des Amis des Livres, printed in only 115 copies on fine vellum paper (unspecified). This one bears the number 55, printed for Monsieur Henri Bonnasse (1899–1984).
Enriched with two menus from 1950 and 1951, each illustrated with original color lithographs numbered 34/60 and 8/150 respectively, signed by the artist.
Pages, with a printed embossed cover in red, double brown casing. In very good condition. Faded dust jacket, slightly browned cover, clean and fresh interior, slight transfer of engravings on some pages. A fine copy.
