The skin as an archive
The skin functions as a living archive: a territory where gestures, tensions, and traces accumulate, shaping identity. Every tattoo, every mark, and every fold records what does not always find its place in language. The body ceases to be just form and becomes memory, a symbol, a space where the intimate is inscribed and remains.
Through the fragment, the detail, and the deformation of the frame, an identity in constant transformation is revealed, made up of impulses, vulnerabilities, and silences. The skin, as an archive, holds what has been experienced and lost, what is shown and what still seeks to be understood.
Medium: Oil in stick form and oil paint on waterproofed canvas handmade by the artist.
Dimensions: 60 x 80 cm
Technique: Painting carried out in layers over a preliminary drawing using various pictorial techniques.

The tonal variations of the painting depend on the lighting and angles of the photographs.
