Walnut wood console pillar dating to circa 1960.
Description from the seller
Based on the turning work (barley twist), the dark walnut color with gloss varnish, and the overall design, this appears to be a mid-20th century wooden pillar / console, likely from around 1950–1970.
This type of decorative consoles were often used for a small vase, figurine, or candle.
Beautiful walnut column in a warm, dark brown shade, crafted with a richly turned ('barley twist') middle section and gracefully profiled foot and head plates. An elegant eye-catcher that effortlessly enhances both classic and eclectic interiors.
The column is ideal for displaying a figurine, small vase, or candle, and instantly adds character to any space. The handcrafted turnwork and the high-gloss finish emphasize the quality and decorative appeal.
Condition
Very good condition, minimal signs of age, ready for use immediately.
