Manuela Ganter-Decker presents the original two-panel acrylic painting titled Minimal Motion Diptych, each panel 70×50 cm (total 70×100 cm), beige on a deep black background, signed on the back, created in 2025, sold with a frame and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Minimal Motion Diptych
This diptych exudes a powerful yet calm presence. Both images consist of a deep, dark black background, in front of which curved, band-like lines in light beige are outlined. The lines are made up of many small, uniform strokes, making them appear like rhythmically placed traces or imprint patterns – almost like the texture of a brush that has been repeatedly reloaded.
Left image
The light beige lines cross in the middle like two interlocking loops. They create a shape reminiscent of an endless band or a lying figure eight – a symbol of movement, connection, and infinite repetition. The overlay appears dynamic but not chaotic.
Right image
Here, the beige lines are softer, more curved, almost like waves or gently wandering paths. They move diagonally across the image, without intersecting, creating a sense of spaciousness and flowing movement.
As a diptych
Together, the two images tell a story of rhythm and change.
The one on the left, with its node, the crossing, appears like the moment of encounter.
The right side shows the continuation, the rebound, and the propagation of the movement.
The combination of strict repetition in the small lines and the freely flowing lines creates an exciting tension. Overall, the diptych appears meditative, organic, and at the same time modern – like a visual representation of breathing, energy, or resonance.
These images can be placed either separately or together in a shadow gap frame, as shown.
An image of the artist that was created exclusively for the Catawiki Selection.
Acrylic on canvas, the unique piece is signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The paintings are delivered on the stretcher frame.
Each piece is made with high-quality materials and is coated with a protective, slightly glossy final varnish.
This diptych has an image size of per image.
70x50x1.5 cm
Together 70x100x1.5 cm.
The shadow gap frame shown is for illustrative purposes only.
All of the artist's works are unique pieces. They are handcrafted paintings created using various techniques.
The photos are not edited, but slight color deviations may occur due to photography.
Cracks, chips, elevations, and paint splatters are part of the artistic style. These do not constitute defects and are intentionally created by the artist.
