Art Deco oak plant stand from the Netherlands, 109 cm high, in good used condition with minor signs of age.
Description from the seller
Very beautiful Art Deco plant table (piedestal). The table is made of oak wood. It weighs nearly 3kg, is 109cm (!) tall, and the top is approximately 25cm x 25cm. The legs are about 33cm apart. The table dates from the 1920s or 1930s. It is a typical Art Deco piece, with the elegant support highlighting the top. This decoration still shows elements of the Art Nouveau style, which is why the plant table is dated to the mid-1920s.
Door temperature influences, but also water left on the tabletop after watering the plants, have caused rings, water stains, and also a tear on both the top and bottom boards (see photos). These signs of use are appropriate for such an old plant table and can certainly remain.
The table has, apart from the previously mentioned Art Nouveau elements, a typical sleek Art Deco shape. The oak wood features a beautiful grain. The table can be used as a plant stand, but also as a pedestal or telephone table (see photos). As an accent table, it is too high. In any setting, this table is a beautiful fitting piece of furniture. Because the table is quite tall, it is particularly suitable for a plant with hanging branches and leaves.
This plant table is carefully packed and shipped insured.
