This necklace is made up of two types of beads.
The 'hoofdkraal' are 'cut' millefiori beads. This shape is very special and, especially when combined with the melon beads, creates a surprising necklace. The cut millefiori beads are alternated with melon beads, which are elongated chevrons. The chevron pattern is visible at the beginning and end of each bead. These beads have a white core, then a red middle layer, followed by another white layer, and on the top, alternating green and light green.
