Eighth edition of this magnificent cookbook with 3,544 recipes and 77 beautifully engraved plates. (29 in Vol I and 48 in Vol II). Both volumes are signed by one of the authors (Urban Dubois) on the verso of the half title.
Rubbing, bumping, and wear to the boards and spine. Pencil markings in the front flyleaves in both volumes. Browning, spotting and some water stains on the top edge of the pages throughout in both volumes. Some tissue guards are missing in both volumes. The text and illustrations are clear, and the binding is solid. Overall, a nice set in good condition.
