AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

MANZOLI, Bartolomeo, O.P. - Doubts on the logic of Paul of Venice according to the way of real philosophers. Extracted and resolved from St. Thomas. - S.l. [Bologna]: Published in the house of Master Justinian of Ruberia, son of the late Leonard of Germany..., 1523. - [4], CCLXXIIII (folios), [1] f.; 21 cm.

Bartolomeo Manzoli (died around 1525), Dominican humanist writer and philosopher, born in Bologna, follower of the realist philosophy of Saint Thomas Aquinas. Slightly trimmed copy (cut of the carmine leaves), but very clean from the original edition of his commentary on the Logic of Paulus Venetus, O.S.A. (1369-1429). However, it shows some worm damage, mostly marginal, particularly between pages 60 and 130 and between pages 160 and 230. The last two pages have a patch on the bottom margin. The title page is slightly dusty with the author's name handwritten on the bottom margin. The binding is very damaged.

Extremely rare copy. Only 2 known in the WorldCat.
