In 'Emerald Sea,' the color green spreads out like a vibrant landscape – not as a solid surface, but as something breathing, changing. The viewer stands before an ocean of green, where no horizon provides stability. Instead, the space opens inward, into one's own perception.

Green appears both calm and vibrant — like the light that filters through deep water. It evokes nature, moss, the gentle movement of a summer breeze, but also something incomprehensible that exists beyond place and time.

"Smaragdmeer" speaks on an emotional level: it invites one to linger, to let the eyes sink down until shapes and nuances reveal themselves, initially invisible. It is a silent dialogue between color and feeling, between surface and depth.

In the end, the impression remains that this sea was not painted but felt — a moment of inner vastness, captured in green.
