Biography
Giuseppe Torre was born in 1956 in San Giorgio a Cremano (Naples). After earning a diploma as a Technical Industrial Expert, he left his studies to pursue work as a freelance photographer, while simultaneously nurturing his lifelong passions: painting and sculpture. Self-taught painter and sculptor, over the years he experimented with many techniques and trends, eventually arriving at hyperrealism and sacred art. He has participated for years in regional and national group exhibitions, achieving notable success with the public and critics, but his solo exhibitions have also been well received. His works are displayed at the E. Greco Museum in Sabaudia (LT), at the Regina dei Gigli convent complex in San Giorgio a Cremano (NA), at the Basilica of S. Alfonso's art gallery in Pagani (SA), at the Bishop's House in Kaahma Tanzannia, and in numerous private collections.
