Description from the seller

Deep Purple – Hush / One More Rainy Day (Parlophone – R 5708) vinyl: VG+ (some hairlines visible and feelable, but plays well) | cover: VG+ (some wear at opening) Label B has a misspelled written-by credit 'Joe Lord' instead of correct 'Jon Lord'.

"Hush" by Deep Purple is their breakthrough 1968 hit, a cover of Joe South's song (originally for Billy Joe Royal), featuring their Mark I lineup (Rod Evans, Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Nick Simper, Ian Paice) and became their first major chart success, establishing their signature sound with its driving organ and rock energy, appearing on the album Shades of Deep Purple and hitting #4 in the US.

Seller's Story

My name is Hans Kesteloo and I finally decided to sell my ‘remaining’ collection of 45’s, LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, laserdiscs and other odd things after more than 60 years of ‘hardcore’ collecting. I purchased my first 45 in 1965, and this was the beginning of an enjoyable, long-time hobby – a real-time “collector’s career”. Now time has come to pass the baton ! When you like to see all my current active sale offers, then click on my name 'Klemtoon' in any lot / auction. Please note: Since I'm a one man show and aged, I can only send on mondays and thursdays. Returns: In case you like to return an item: I will refund the postage cost of shipping the item(s) to buyer. Buyer pays for the cost of returning that item(s) My grading: vg+ = slight traces of use / visible traces inaudible ex = very light inaudible traces nm = as new mint = new
