Description from the seller
On December 1, 2010, Marten Toonder's cultural legacy (all of his own work) was officially transferred by his heirs to the Literary Museum Leiden and has since become the property of the Dutch State. In November 2018, the Marten Toonder Studios archive was donated to the Literature Museum in The Hague and the Eye Film Museum in Amsterdam. See the last photo.

In England, the story was called Panda and the Treasure Island. It was drawn by Marten Toonder and his assistant Harry Hargraeves, who are considered among the best Panda artists ever.
